Extensions

Extensions are the internal numbers assigned to each user or device within the telephone system. From this module you can create, edit, and manage all extensions in your organization.

Extension types

Type	Description
SIP	SIP-based extension (softphone or IP phone)
Virtual	Extension with no physical device
Conference	Virtual conference room
IVR	Points to an IVR flow

Create an extension

Go to Telephony → Extensions
Click New extension
Fill in:
- Extension number — internal number (e.g., 101)
- Name — descriptive label
- Type — SIP, Virtual, etc.
- SIP password — for device authentication
- Assigned user — optional
Save

SIP configuration

To configure a softphone or IP phone with this extension:

Server:    sip.yourcompany.com
Username:  101
Password:  (configured when creating the extension)
Port:      5060
Protocol:  UDP

Extension status

In the extension list you can see the real-time status:

🟢 Registered — device is connected
🔴 Unregistered — device is not connected
🟡 On call — extension is busy
