Grant permissions

To unlock all features and simplify rollout, an administrator should complete the required consent screens.

Before the consent flow: in Teams, open HIT Phone from the left rail (already pinned by policy). The source manual does not include a faithful screenshot of only that step in the client; follow it in the standard Teams UI.

Click Continue on the screen shown.
Complete sign-in with an appropriate account (admin / service account per your policy).
Grant permissions using the admin consent for the organization checkbox when available.

Note: after consent, extra permission prompts may appear — per the source manual they can be dismissed if not required for the main flow.

b. Additional permissions and Windows module

If the next screen does not appear, click Refresh in the upper-right corner.
Click Grant permissions, sign in again if prompted, and accept with the organization checkbox when shown.
HIT Phone may then prompt to install the Windows module. Follow the Installation on the computer (users) guide (Windows module) before finishing the remaining admin steps in this chapter.

c. Admin permissions for missed calls

To enable activity notifications for missed calls:

In Teams, open HIT Phone from the app bar.
When prompted to grant additional permissions (including those related to missed-call notifications), click Grant permissions.
In the Microsoft Permissions requested window, sign in with an administrative account, select Consent on behalf of your organization when shown, and click Accept.
